Sunday January 11, 1914
Clear part of the day, not so windy. Harry went to Kennett this morning for the papers, they had not come, so he came home, and went to West Chester on a later Trolley. Margaret went to Church this morning, then out to Fryers to see the children. Came home in the evening. Harry and I spent the day quietly at home, reading. I am reading "The Woman thou gavest Me" by Hall Cane.
Kennett Square, PA. Not only is Kennett Square the Mushroom capital of the world, it was also a key stop on the Underground Railroad in the 19th century.
