Partly overcast, but warmer, raining awhile this evening. I sent 9 lb butter to Osbornes, baked pies, and arranged the guest room. Harry running the Mill. I received letter from brother Sam. All were well. Harry at West Chester to night.
According to wikipedia, there were lots of mills on Brandywine Creek. Very interesting area history on this page. Such a busy, industrial area for the times.
